Dark Knight Rises Unaddressed Issues, Revealing Mistake and Plot Holes

Assuming that Gotham City has a population roughly the size of modern day Chicago (its setting for the first two films) of about 3 million people, why wasn't there mass starvation with 30 days to 6 weeks of all the entrances and exits to the city being destroyed?
Grocery stores would run out of food within days and it shown that much of the siege occurs during the winter months. There would have been tens of thousands of deaths due to hunger and malnutrition long before Batman ever returned to the city.
Where did Batman get his costume from when he returned to the city?
For that matter, where did he get the Bat-copter?
He had been gone for months and he had no access to his mansion (which should have been ransacked as Bane knew his secret identity) and the Batcave so where did he get his uniform from?
Bruce Wayne/Batman spent at least five months at a prison in a developing nation. While he did, and miraculously recovered from have his spine broken, he would have still had to face months with consuming an exceptionally low calorie diet as developing world prisons are not known for the quality of their cuisine. It is, after all, a prison.
Why wasn't Batman malnourished and weak from spending time there and then abruptly traveling all the way to Gotham City within several days? Protein bars? Energy drinks?
Alfred the butler and the film itself both telegraph the ending roughly fifteen minutes into the film.
Minor Plot Hole
Hundreds of people witnessed Bane and his henchmen hack into the Gotham Stock Exchange at the same time Bruce Wayne was supposed to executed his billions of dollars worth of insane trades. Wouldn't that alone have been enough to invalidate all of those trades until they were determined to been made by Wayne or with his approval?
It's not as if Bane killed all or even most of the witnesses. There are also cameras recording the events and the computers would time stamp any trade which was made, making that portion of Bane's plan, useless.
Minor Plot Hole
A city the size of Gotham should have had a police force the size of the City of Chicago's (roughly 13k). Even if half of them were somehow trapped in the sewer system, that would still leave thousands of cops on the street. Where were they until near the end?
How about county and state level law enforcement? And the federal government should have had at least several hundred law enforcement officials from various agencies either stationed in the city or working there in various capacities? Yet none of them challenged Bane?
Minor plot hole
Where did Bane's groups get the diesel fuel to drive the trucks carrying the hidden bomb around Gotham City if they DESTROYED ALL OF THE EXITS AND ENTRANCES TO The CITY? And did the trucks never break down considering they were constantly being driven to prevent the bomb's location from being known?

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention anywhere - they removed the nuclear device from the reactor, then they said in 4-5 months it will explode!!!
How did they get a to the second countdown on the thing if it was only exploding of its own devices? Surely it could have blown up a day earlier or a day later. This makes Batman's delay kissing Catwoman at the end even crazier.
